“Eterna-Juventude” is the debut from singer/multi-instrumentalist Caetano Malta. The São Paulo native has spent the last twenty years fusing all his musical inspirations shaped by Brazil’s diverse traditions. There’s much to savour here. “A Viagem com os Meus Pais” is a festive tune that blends pop and samba rhythms. “Dia de lemanja” is psychedelic Brazilian folk filled with dreamy soundscapes. “Estrela” is a joyful tune ignited by Malta’s tasty guitar chords and infectious percussion. Malta’s feathery vocals are the centrepiece throughout, and his engaging songwriting will pull you in for a glorious ride. A marvellous debut from the multi-talented Malta.
